You unfortunately can’t buy a third party ONT and use it on their system, most fiber ISPs have this restriction.

Fiber is probably the most reliable service I’ve had from AT&T. Highly encourage it. There is no price hikes anymore (unless your available for 100mb or below), there’s also no contracts. It’s straight forward pricing. Once you sign into a price, that’s your price moving forward.

Fire up up att modem/router which is connected to switch, wait for all green lights go into settings and copy the MAC address. Assign your router of choice the same MAC address.
